The whole father and son dynamic isn’t really something Cap and Hawkeye have in the movie but it is pretty much what their dynamic is like in the comic. Mainly because of Clint’s origin, his daddy issues, the fact that Clint started his crime-fighting career with Steve, and the fact that Clint was one of Steve’s first students (along with Wanda and Pietro).
And this kind of reminds me of that :D
